My Approach
Many people I work with face life changes, heartbreak, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection. Often, they’re holding questions about who they are and what matters now.
I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself and build tools for self-trust and care in your life and relationships. Whether we meet online or in Berlin, we’ll make space for what’s emerging in you.
Together, we’ll explore internalized beliefs and survival strategies often shaped by early relationships. As awareness grows, new possibilities for change can unfold.
My approach is integrative and relational, blending insights from neuroscience about how we process emotion, form bonds, and carry traumatic experiences in the body.
As a trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming counsellor, I honor your identity and healing process.
Being deeply heard, especially in the places we feel most ashamed or afraid, is profoundly healing.
You’re welcome here exactly as you are.

What to Expect from Your Trial Session
Preparing for your first session
To help us make the most of our time together, please ensure the following:
You have access to a laptop, phone, or tablet with FaceTime or Google Meet. If you prefer another platform, just let me know.
Both video and audio are essential for a meaningful connection.
You’re in a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection, somewhere you feel safe and comfortable speaking openly.
During the trial session
This first meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other.
You're welcome to ask any questions about my background and approach. It’s important that you feel at ease with both the process and with me, as a person and as a professional.
You'll be invited to share what brings you to counselling. I’ll also get a general sense of your situation to assess whether I’m the right person to support you.
Starting counselling is a significant and personal decision. I encourage you to take the time you need to reflect on whether you'd like to begin this process.
After your first session
If we decide that I’m the right professional to support you, we’ll begin working together.
Sessions take place weekly, especially at the start, as we begin to explore the issues and challenges that matter most to you.
For more general insight into how I work, feel free to explore the FAQ section.
FAQs
Sometimes it’s hard to begin something as intimate and important as counselling. Here you can find answers about online counselling and how sessions with me work.
-
Yes. Counselling can be a powerful support during identity shifts, or major life changes such as a midlife crisis, relocation, separation, or grieving a loss.
During these periods, it’s common to feel emotionally overwhelmed or disconnected from your sense of purpose.
Counselling offers a space for self-reflection, emotional clarity, and realignment with what truly matters to you so you don’t have to navigate these changes alone.
-
My approach is relational, integrative, and grounded in intersectionality. This means we don’t just focus on your thoughts, emotions, or behaviours. We also consider your cultural background and life context which shape your experience.
-
Counselling is a guided conversation held in a collaborative, non-judgmental space. It’s designed to help you explore your thoughts, feelings and patterns from new angles to encourage meaningful change. This process can be especially helpful during life transitions, identity challenges, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm or burnout.
-
Connection matters. For you, our trial session is an opportunity to sense whether my style – blending an integrative approach and relational psychoanalytic listening – resonates with what you’re looking for. For me, it’s a chance to gain a general impression of your situation and assess whether I have the appropriate tools to accompany you on your journey.
-
While it varies for everyone, many clients begin to feel a shift after 5–10 sessions. For deeper work, ongoing sessions allow us to explore long-term emotional patterns and cultivate lasting change.
-
We’ll usually meet once per week, especially at the start as we begin to work through the issues and challenges you’d like to address.
-
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. If a cancellation is made at short notice and we can't reschedule within the same week, the full session fee will still apply.
-
Yes, absolutely. We both agree to participate from private, secure spaces. Sessions are never recorded.
-
No, I don’t work with statutory health insurance. All sessions are paid privately.
-
Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. Invoices should be paid within 7 days.
-
No, I work exclusively with adults (18+).
-
You are welcome to reach out if something urgent comes up and I'll do my best to fit in an extra session as soon as possible. That said, immediate availability can’t always be guaranteed.
In case of a medical or psychiatric emergency, please contact your nearest hospital immediately. -
If you are in a crisis or experiencing severe psychological distress, counselling is not the right course of action for that moment. Please reach out to your local crisis center or go directly to a hospital for immediate support.
